In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Province regarding employment and entrepreneurship for college graduates, and to solidly advance the employment action plan for the Class of 2026, from April 9 to 12, President Peng Linjun led a delegation to Wucheng District of Jinhua City, Hangzhou, and Yiwu in Zhejiang Province to participate in the Jiangxi higher education institutions’ targeted “Outstanding Enterprises Attracting Talent” series of activities for enterprise visits and job expansion.

This event was jointly organized by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Wucheng District and Wucheng Urban Development Group, in collaboration with six Jiangxi higher education institutions, including Jiangxi Vocational Technical College of Communications and Jiangxi Construction Vocational and Technical College. Together with local key enterprises such as Jinhua Technician School, Enli Transportation, Leapmotor, Jinwu Agriculture, Daita, and Beika Supply Chain, the delegation carried out a wide range of activities, including government-enterprise symposiums, enterprise visits, college-locality cooperation meetings, and visits to interns. These efforts enabled precise alignment with high-quality enterprise resources, actively created employment opportunities for graduates, and effectively promoted in-depth integration and coordinated development between colleges and local governments, as well as between colleges and enterprises.
Government, Enterprise, and College Collaboration: Exploring New Paths for Cooperation
The first stop of the delegation was Wucheng District, Jinhua City, where a special symposium was held with the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Wucheng District and Wucheng Urban Development Group. President Peng Linjun introduced the college’s educational orientation, distinctive talent development models and employment progress for the 2026 graduates, with a focus on the disciplinary achievements and industry-education integration practices in the college's advantageous programs such as intelligent manufacturing and economics and trade. Relevant officials from the Wucheng District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Wucheng Urban Development Group provided a comprehensive overview of local industrial development, current talent demands, and relevant support policies. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on key topics such as innovative school-enterprise cooperation models, the establishment of internship and training bases, and targeted talent cultivation for graduates, reaching preliminary consensus on multiple areas of cooperation.

During the enterprise visits, the delegation visited Jinhua Technician School, Enli Transportation, Leapmotor, Jinwu Agriculture, Daita, and Beika Supply Chain, among others. They toured production workshops, research and development centers, and other on-site facilities, and held face-to-face discussions with company leaders and human resources teams. An in-depth discussion focusing on professional talent standards, job requirements, internship arrangements, and graduate recruitment was held by both sides, reaching a broad consensus was reached, and agreeing to establish a regular communication mechanism to promote resource sharing and complementary advantages, thereby building an integrated pathway from internship to employment for graduates.
College-Local Government Coordination: Expanding New Employment Channels
Relying on the high-quality platform of “Outstanding Enterprises Attracting Talent” among Jiangxi higher education institutions, this activity brought together six institutions from Jiangxi to strengthen cooperation and conduct precise college-locality matching with high-quality enterprises in Zhejiang. Through the innovative model of government-enterprise platform building and college-enterprise linkage, the initiative precisely aligned the professional skills of the college’s graduates with enterprise job demands, focusing on quality positions in fields such as intelligent manufacturing, economic and trade management, and fire protection operation and maintenance, thereby addressing the challenge of matching graduate supply with market demand.

During the visits, the delegation actively promoted the overall profile of the college’s Class of 2026 graduates to the participating enterprises, with particular emphasis on the strengths of specialized school such as the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, the quality of talent cultivation, and the employment competitiveness of graduates. These presentations were highly recognized by many enterprises, several of which expressed clear recruitment intentions. According to preliminary statistics, the event established precise connections with more than ten high-quality enterprises, covering key sectors such as new energy, transportation and logistics, modern agriculture, and intelligent manufacturing, providing hundreds of employment opportunities in areas including technology research and development, production management, and marketing, effectively broadening employment channels for graduates and injecting strong momentum into the employment promotion efforts for the Class of 2026.
Caring for Interns: Strengthening the Synergy of Talent Cultivation
While carrying out enterprise visits and job expansion activities, the delegation also made a special trip to visit and extend greetings to the college’s interns working in Jinhua and Hangzhou. The delegation held cordial discussions with the interns and inquired in detail about their living conditions, work progress, and career plans. President Peng Linjun encouraged the interns to cherish their internship opportunities, strengthen their professional skills, actively adapt to the enterprise environment, and accumulate practical experience. At the same time, he urged the accompanying teachers to ensure strong service and support for interns and to respond promptly to any difficulties and challenges encountered during the internship process.

The interns expressed their sincere gratitude for the college’s care and support, and stated that they would devote themselves to their internship work with enthusiasm, continue improving their overall capabilities, and strive to achieve high-quality employment as early as possible. This visit offering condolences not only brought the college, interns, and partner enterprises closer together, but also strengthened the synergy of collaborative talent cultivation between colleges and enterprises, laying a solid foundation for further deepening school-enterprise cooperation and improving the quality of talent cultivation.

This targeted enterprise visit and job expansion activity in Jinhua and Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, carried out under the “Outstanding Enterprises Attracting Talent” initiative, was an important practical measure in advancing the college’s graduate employment campaign, achieving substantial and fruitful outcomes. First, it deepened the mechanisms of college-locality coordination and college-enterprise linkage, successfully establishing long-term and stable cooperative relationships with relevant government departments in Wucheng District and a number of high-quality enterprises, thus providing a strong platform for future industry-education integration, internship and training base construction, and joint talent cultivation. Second, it expanded the supply of high-quality employment opportunities and secured a large number of highly compatible positions for the Class of 2026, effectively easing employment pressure on graduates.
