I. Visa
1. Please apply for a visa at a Chinese embassy with the Admission Notice and the Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW202 form for study periods over 180 days) or Short-term Student Information Form (DQ form for study periods under 180 days).
2. According to the requirements of the Chinese Entry-Exit Administration and the National Immigration Administration, you must apply for a student visa (X visa) to study in China. Other types of visas cannot be used for registration.
If your study period in China over 180 days, you must apply for an X1 visa, and convert it into a residence permit within 30 days of entry.
If your study period does under 180 days, you must apply for an X2 visa.
Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 180 days from the official start date of the program to facilitate the visa/residence process.
3. If you are already in China with another type of visa (not a student visa), you must report to the college on time to obtain the Visa Certificate for Foreigners in China, and prepare a printed copy of the JW202/DQ Form, Admission Notice, and Medical Examination Certificate (not needed for stays in China under 180 days) for visa conversion. Only after successful conversion to a student visa, can you attend school and your previous visa will automatically become invalid.
Reminder: If a foreigner overstays their visa or residence permit in China, it is considered illegal stay and the Entry-Exit Bureau may impose penalties. Please always pay attention to the validity of your visa or residence permit after arriving in China.
II. Insurance
To ensure your health and safety protection, and in accordance with Chinese government regulations, all international students must purchase comprehensive medical insurance in China. Visa registration will not be allowed without insurance.

2. How to Purchase Insurance, after receiving the Admission Notice:
PC Version: login in the website (www.lxbx.net) → Enter passport number and verification code → Select insurance duration → Choose payment method → Complete payment → Save proof via email.
Mobile Version: Scan the QR code of “Lianhua International” → Enter passport number and verification code → Click “Purchase Insurance” → Screenshot and save the payment proof after completing payment.
You are advised to download WeChat or Alipay in advance (avoid switching apps during payment). International cards (VISA/MASTER) are also available.
Reminder: Insurance becomes effective the day after purchase. Do not purchase too early. Hence, it is strongly recommended to buy it one day before your departure to China.
III. Transportation
You are advised to download map apps, such as Baidu Maps or Gaode map, and payment apps like WeChat or Alipay, commonly used in China. Meanwhile, please bring approximately RMB 150 in cash for transport from Nanchang Changbei International Airport to the school.
